ABOUT OUR SERVICE

Owner’s Representative Services (OR) are professional services provided to act on behalf of the owner or client during the planning, design, construction, and/or post-construction phases of a building project. The multitude of roles for an Owner’s Representative providing services can be procured during different phases of a project and can include:

  1. Project Planning: As Owner’s Representative we can help you with project planning by developing a project strategy, creating a detailed project plan, and establishing project goals and objectives. We can also provide guidance on selecting the right design and construction team and developing a project budget and schedule.

  2. Project Design and Construction: During the project design and construction phase, as the Owner’s Representative we can manage the construction process, including reviewing design documents, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, monitoring the construction schedule, and ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.

  3. Budget and Cost Management: As the Owner’s Representative we can assist with budget and cost management by providing a detailed cost analysis of the project, preparing a budget and managing all project expenses, reviewing and negotiating change orders, and ensuring that the project is completed within the approved budget.
  4. Risk Management: As the Owner’s Representative we will help mitigate risks by developing a risk management plan, identifying potential risks, and developing a plan to manage those risks. This includes identifying areas of potential delays, cost overruns, and other issues that could impact the project’s success.

  5. Communication: As the Owner’s Representative we will act as the primary point of contact between you the owner and all project stakeholders. We facilitate communication among team members and provide regular status updates to you the owner.

  6. Quality Control: As an Owner’s Representative we will ensure that all construction work meets the project’s quality standards. We can provide guidance on materials selection, oversee quality control inspections, and manage the closeout process.

  7. Post-Construction Services: As the Owner’s Representative we can provide post-construction services, including reviewing final documentation, ensuring that all warranties and guarantees are in place, and facilitating the owner’s transition to occupying the building.
